mask & Prep
The new panels are primed, prepped and painted to await installation. Each affected area of the vehicle is treated for corrosion protection.
After vehicle is measured, the new panels are replaced and then the vehicle is checked again for dimension accuracy.
The vehicle is then moved into the priming area and primed using an acid etching rust-inhibiting primer.
Your vehicle is then water block sanded using progressively finer sanding grits. This process ensures a smooth flawless surface, free of irregularities.
Ben Clymer's will then thoroughly inspect the vehicles surface and then pressure wash the vehicle to remove grease, tar, smudges, silicon, and any other contamination that may inhibit a quality paint application and finish. If necessary, door jambs and inner edges are painted before the exterior application of paint.
Lastly, the areas are taped, bagged and masked off. We then clean the vehicle again, blowing any dust off with compressed air. After this we place the car inside a downdraft paint booth where the vehicle will be cleaned again to ensure a quality finish.
